Ashley + Taylor [Yorba Linda Wedding]

What a fun wedding!! Taylor and Ashley were married at Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda. Taylor and I have been friends since college. It truly was a pleasure and a privilege to capture his and Ashley’s wedding day. These two brought tears to our eyes multiple times that day. They chose to wait until the alter to see each other, but shared a sweet moment where they sat facing away from each other, holding hands and praying. The look on Taylor’s face was priceless when he saw his bride coming down the aisle.  Their wedding was also full of fantastic vendors, including one of the best DJs we’ve ever worked with, Allan from APC Entertainment. This guy seriously knows how to get a crowd dancing!  An awesome day from start to finish. I can truly say that I am so happy for them. Congratulations, Taylor and Ashley!

David + Emily [Berkeley, CA]

Emily and David’s wedding was so unique! Their theme was “books and rust”, and they did it perfectly! They were married and Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church and had their reception at the Bancroft Hotel. Their guests were guided along a walk through UC Berkeley on their way to the reception. Emily and David are such a fun couple, and you can see so clearly how much they are in love when they look at each other. Enjoy the photos from their amazing wedding!

Nate + Brittany [Malibu, CA]

Nate and Brittany were married on the beach in beautiful Malibu, California! Malibu West Beach Club was the perfect spot for their intimate wedding. These two had so much fun energy and their wedding was quite the celebration! We were so happy to be a part of it. Congratulations Nate and Brittany!

Anna + Bryce [Nipomo, CA]

Anna and Bryce were married at a charming venue in Nipomo, The Kaleidoscope Inn with Carolayne as their coordinator.  This couple is just so full of life and happiness. Nothing could have wiped that huge smile off both of their faces that day! Their wedding was so colorful, and Anna and her friends and family did the flowers themselves. For their dessert they bought SLO Maid Ice Cream and served delicious ice cream sundaes! They had a great dance party under bistro lighting, led by their DJs Kevin and Johnny from Adept Events.
Stillwaters Cinematography were there filming with us again! Not only did they also film our wedding, but we have worked with them at both Sam & Billy’s Wedding and Dave & Hanieh‘s wedding, and always look forward to seeing them!

Thank you, Anna and Bryce for the privilege to capture your beautiful, happy wedding. We wish you all the best!

Corree + Chris {Engaged}

Corree and Chris are getting married in September 2013! We did their engagement shoot in a field in Atascadero with a combination of decor including an awesome blue vintage couch, rented from Zest It Up. Corree and Chris were so comfortable with each other, making this engagement shoot especially fun and enjoyable! We can’t wait to capture this couple’s wedding this fall!

Mark + Carlotta [San Diego, CA]

Mark and Carlotta had a beautiful wedding on a perfect day in San Diego! Their ceremony was held at the gorgeous Saint Gabriel’s Church in Poway, followed by their reception at Maderas Golf Club. Carlotta held her grandmother’s rosary in her bouquet during the ceremony. Their bridesmaid dresses, decorations, and beautiful flowers, (flowers by White Wedding Day Events), had a refreshing mint green theme, which we loved! At their reception they had an awesome photo booth by The Foto Box, a beautiful cake by Sweet Cheeks, and a killer live band, The Mighty Untouchables. All in all this day was an AWESOME party, coordinated by A Diamond Celebration. Carlotta & Mark and their families and wedding party were so fun to work with! Congratulations to you both! Thank you for sharing your day with us!

Featured on Love & Lavender

We had Bart + Allison’s awesome wedding featured on Love & Lavender today!  The colors of this wedding were perfect, and the group was super fun.  I would have had my wedding at this venue if we had know about it before; set just outside of San Luis Obispo in the hills.  Fun day, fun capture… Check the Love and Lavender blog feature out by clicking “this nifty little link”. You can also see more of their wedding pictures here!

Jennifer + Travis [Pleasanton, CA]

Congratulations to Jenny and Travis! Their wedding was such a fun one to shoot. Jenny has been a friend of mine since elementary school. This was one of our favorite wedding this year because of all of the long-time friends we got to spend the day with!  We started the day photographing her getting married in the neighborhood in Pleasanton where we grew up. They were married at St. Charles Catholic Church in Livermore, and had their reception at Round Hill Country Club in Alamo. Jenny’s bracelet had engraved on the inside “heart of gold” and it couldn’t be more true about her. Happiness, excitement, and love were definitely the common themes in this wedding.  Her dad’s toast at the reception pretty much brought us all to tears! Jenny and Travis seemed to have smiles on their faces the whole day. We are so happy for them. Best wishes to both of you!

Dave + Hanieh [Kauai, HI]

Dave and Hanieh: The couple that’s got it all goin’ on! These two are a perfect mix of youth, vitality, and class, and their wedding proved to be just the same. They were married in Princeville, Kauai at the prestigious Saint Regis resort. They kicked off the weekend by hosting an incredible party to welcome their guests with great food, plenty of drinks, and a hookah bar, all on a bluff overlooking the ocean. The wedding was even more spectacular, down to every detail, with a big thanks to Dee Merz, their wedding planner. It was such a privilege to take part in such a beautiful event surrounded by so much love. Best wishes and love to you both, Dave and Hanieh!

Eric + Kate [Morro Bay, CA]

Eric and Kate were married on a beautiful sunny day in Morro Bay. This couple is super down to earth and fun. Not to mention that we share the same interest in brewing beer. Not only did they brew their own beer for the wedding, but they brought me supplies as a gift to brew a delicious stout! It’s so fun to see a couple so perfect for each other. You could see all wedding nerves melt away as soon as they were with one another. Thanks again guys! Be sure to swing by for a home brew next time you’re in town!

Bart + Allison [Atascadero, CA]

Bart and Allison had a rustic wedding at the Portola Inn in Atascadero. Such a beautiful venue where they were married under a giant oak tree! Their decorations had a beautiful lavender theme: lavender bouquets, aisle flowers, centerpieces, and the flower girls even threw dried lavender. His groomsmen gifts were fishing reels (awesome). This is a couple full of great stories too, and their bridal party was really energetic and fun. The groom even played in band during part of the dancing! Such a great wedding. Congratulations Bart and Allison!

Jazmine + Edan [Morgan Hill, CA]

Meet Jazmine and Edan! This couple had their beautiful wedding at the Willow Heights Mansion in Morgan Hill. Jazmine and Edan had such a unique ceremony combining Christian and Jewish traditions. Jazmines bridesmaids each wore a different yellow dress and each had unique flowers in their bouquet, designed by The Petal Company. Their reception overlooked green rolling hills, making for a beautiful background! Their invitations and programs were done by Rachel Hanson Designs and their wedding was designed and coordinated by Giselle with Deluxe+Design+Decor. Jazmine and Edan, thank you for the privilege to capture your wedding! Love you guys.

Jeff + Megan [Woodside, CA]

Jeff and Megan were married in the beautiful Hills of Woodside, California. Their venue, The Mountain Terrace is covered in tall gorgeous Redwood trees. Jeff serves in the United States Marine Corps, and he actually did not officially know if he would be off duty on their wedding day until less than a week before their wedding! Nothing could cloud their wedding day though; not even a giant Banana Slug making its home in Megan’s bouquet when she set it down in the grass during some of the portraits! Awesome. (Their florist, by the way, was Miss Scarlett’s Flowers)  During Jeff and Megan’s first look, Jeff’s face was priceless when he saw his bride for the first time. Excitement and amazement. What a sweet moment. At their reception they used our Photo Booth with a photo guest book and a bunch of fun props. Congratulations, Megan and Jeff! We wish you two the happiest days.
