San Luis Obispo Wedding {Nicole + Keith}

A celebration indeed! I worked with Keith back in the day, pouring wine and doing projects around the vineyard. His family is the owners of one of the best wineries in SLO County, Kelsey See Canyon Vineyard. Mix some damn good wine with a place like the spacious and natural La Cuesta Ranch, and you’re set for a good time. Nicole was gorgeous and stress fee the whole day, as a bride should be. The night ended with the boots hitting the barn floor to some live local music!

Pismo Wedding {Lauren + Kevin}

Lauren and Kevin hit some of the best spots in SLO. They started getting ready at local friends’ houses, then the boys hit Bull’s Tavern while we cruised around downtown with the girls. Then they switched, and the girls sipped on a cocktail at one of my top spots… Luna Red. The Ceremony followed at our historical downtown mission, then an evening of celebration tucked in the secluded hillsides of Thousand Hills Ranch! Super sweet couple from beginning to end!

Livermore Wedding {Sarah + Ty}

Sarah and Ty felt like a good old fashioned American wedding. Set out in the country hills of Livermore, they were wed in a rustic bard, dined outdoors with family style tables and danced under the stars. Their grand entrance into the reception started with them and their bridal party rolling up in the back of a truck. Lots of laughs, and lots of love!

Tiber Canyon Ranch Wedding {Jessica + Sean}

These two and their crew know how to have a good time! They met in college working at Mother’s Tavern and celebrated their marriage vows back on their old stomping grounds in San Luis Obispo. They were married down a little hidden road, where you can find the beautiful Tiber Canyon Ranch spread out under the trees. They committed themselves under an oak clearing, dined family style, and danced like they meant it. The decor of soft pinks, greys, and greens married perfectly with the surroundings. Fun night, fun couple!

Kevin + Aimee {Spanish Oaks Ranch}

This wedding hit close to home because the venue Kevin and Aimee chose was also where my wife and I were married 4 years ago, Spanish Oaks Ranch. They had a beautiful early summer wedding tucked in the golden hills of Santa Margarita, California. It was a privilege to capture the wedding of a couple with such a sweet affection for each other. Matthew + Ashley {Thousand Hills Ranch, SLO, CA}

How fun is it to photograph your own cousins wedding? It’s awesome. You have all your family there, you’re doing what you love, and truly celebrating the bride and groom. These to had such a beautiful and carefully planned wedding. They had hints of “Lord of the Rings” tied into their decor. Delicate, yet rich florals with dahlias and eucalyptus. And we could not have possibly asked for a more beautiful January day! Congratulations to you both!

Alissa and Tylor had a wedding with a hunting flare, chock-full of personality & fun in Palmdale, California. This is the perfect example of a wedding that truly shows who they are as a couple. Kirstyn + Juston [Retzlaff Winery Livermore, CA]

Kirstyn and Juston were married at a the beautiful Retzlaff Winery in Livermore, California, which is a just stone’s throw away from my home town. I have known Kirstyn since we were in high school. It’s so fun to see good friends fall in love and get married. Not to mention it makes my job that much more amazing! I’m so happy for Kirstyn and Juston. Congratulations to both of you!

Matthew + Ashley [Engaged] San Luis Obispo

Such a pleasure to get to capture family and be a part of all of the fun moments leading up to the wedding. My cousin Matthew and his beautiful new fiancé Ashley decided to have their engagement photos out in the nature of Los Osos and Montaña de Oro. It was a bit of a blustery day, but they braved the storm and some beautiful images came from it! I’m so happy for these two.
